Welcome to My Blog

   Hi Friends!

I will not go gently onto a shelf, degutted, to become a non-book.”

What is this blog all about?

Hello readers and welcome to my new blog. Now, unless you got a clue from the title of my website here let me explain a bit for you. I am here to write about my thoughts on how disconnected our society has become from being “connected”. I am not your average writer either. I am a 15 year old girl who was born into a time where the iPhone and iPad weren’t even a thing yet and Apple was still just a growing computer business. I got to witness the progression of these products as they circulated through my household, so I guess you could say I grew up as Apple did. And, being born into a larger city like Las Vegas as I was, it is true that technology was apart of my childhood. I remember all the trips to the pristine Apple store and playing at the kids computer table (which is now long gone) as my parents bought their shiny, upgraded devices. It seemed to be a normal part of life as I got older and around age 7 or 8 was when I got my first Apple product. It was a first-gen IPod Touch. I remember how happy I was when I got that IPod and to this day it still works- holding 200+ songs, downloaded photos, and over 60 different applications. What I didn’t realize then was that that product would pave the path of constant electronics for many years to come.

Even though technology has been there always, I recently found a world that is brighter than one lit up by the artificial glow of a computer screen. As if by chance, I had discovered a paradise among the digital reality. And my journey towards finding it started in the great state of Idaho.

Why should you read my blogposts?

If you are looking for an escape, my blog is something for you. I simply want to encourage others to find happiness outside of a computer. To me, being able to share my story with others and possibly help makes this all worth it. Life is just too short to waste away in front of a screen.
